Quality time I think is as often as a family finds convenient. What's more important to me is how often special time. Just like a pediatrician might say an apple a day will keep me away, an hour of special time a week will keep a child psychologist away. One hour a week of undivided attention. The average American father spends nine minutes one on one each week with his teenage child. We way overestimate the amount of undivided attention we give our kids so an hour a week is kind of a real foundational baseline and our research suggests that the benefits of that hour lasts until middle life, you can see people in their forties and fifties. so that the base. up on that, as much quality time as the family wants to do as long as it does not drive them more crazy than they already are
