Transcription:
To help your older child develop sequential listening skills. I'ts important to understand a concept called "Chunking". And it means that you asked them to follow directions but you phrase it in such a way that there is a pause after every three directions. For example, you might say to your child "would you go to your room? And bring me your yellow notebook, your sweater, and your hairbrush." And then you pause, and you wait till you get those three, and as you increase chunks of three you increase their ability to sequentially follow directions.
