Your child doesn't need to learn academics in order to be prepared for Kindergarten. What he needs to do in preschool is to discover, learn how to imagine, play; all of those important things that will help him transition to Kindergarten. Those are the most important parts. Academics, he will learn once he gets to Kindergarten, but the social skills is what he will need to transition to Kindergarten.
