What kids are looking for in a college

Kids might be looking for a place to paint their face blue and jump in the fountain or read poetry under the tree or go to a fraternity party or go into the city and have a wild night with a fake ID. They are much more interested in the social side, although, there are kids that care about what they are going to be studying. Parents are more interested in the destination, rather than the journey on many levels. They do want to see their children intellectually engaged and that's very valid. One thing you want to do on the tour, or online, is to see how much interaction there is between professors and kids. I think that's an important thing for kids and for parents.
